Leadership

A life renewed by the gospel and actively showing evidence of such renewal is ,then, in a position to lead others. We believe that whatever God is going to do through all of Christ’s people in the world, He is going to do through leaders who empower His people as their first priority. Therefore, Renewal will empower others to live out their renewed life in their various spheres of influence. The first priority for this influence is in the home, as men and women are trained to live out their complementary gender roles in the home and children are raised to know the gospel. Within the church, renewed leadership takes the form of Biblical eldership as God-called and trained men are empowered, under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ, to shepherd the flock of God in their midst. Because we believe that right thinking fosters right living, this leadership will take the form of doctrinal faithfulness and Biblical teaching that will encourage renewed individuals to understand and apply the gospel to their lives.
