Renewal Partnership Covenant

Renewal Partnership Covenant

  •             Being led by the grace of God to repent of my sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and place my faith in the finished work of Jesus on my behalf,
  •             Being convinced that I do nothing to earn or merit God’s favor, but am saved because Christ has been my substitute and the Father has accepted the payment,
  •             Being baptized by immersion following my conversion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
  •             Being in agreement with the basics doctrinal statements of Renewal Church as a minimum standard of theological truth,
  •             Being assured that Jesus is the head and ultimate authority of the local Church,
  •             Being compelled to live my life in such a way that others will come to an awareness of God through me and will know that there is none like Him in the entire universe,

I now solemnly and joyfully enter into a covenant and with the Lord’s help I will pursue:

Growing in Intimacy with God by:

  •             Pursuing the Lord Jesus Christ through regular prayer, Bible reading, fellowship and other spiritual disciplines (Ps. 119:103-104; Luke 18:1; Acts 17:11; 1 Cor. 9:24-27; Eph. 5:1-21; 2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thes. 5:12-22; Heb. 12:1-2)
